In a significant development for the healthcare sector, Public Health Center of Kebumen II in Kebumen received a visit from the team of Purbowangi Hospital on July 11, 2023. The meeting took place at the Head of Puskesmas' office, where the purpose of the visit was to introduce the establishment of a retina center at Purbowangi Hospital and discuss potential ongoing collaboration in healthcare services between Public Health Center of Kebumen II, Purbowangi Hospital, and Kebumen Eyes Center.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by drg. SITI AMINATUN ZAKHROH, M.M. as the Head of Puskesmas Kebumen II. In her address, she expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration between Public Health Center of Kebumen II and Purbowangi Hospital, particularly regarding the screening of Retinopathy in patients with Diabetes Mellitus.
Representing Purbowangi Hospital, the team comprised dr. Budi Satrio, M.Kes. (Director of the Hospital) along with Turyani Widyastuti, S.Kep., Ns (Head of Nursing Services), and drg. Endah Rusdiana (Head of Medical Support Services). They expressed their readiness to collaborate with Puskesmas on early detection and the provision of new vitreoretinal services.
